Swarovski Crystal Worlds, also known as Swarovski Kristallwelten, is a breathtaking attraction dedicated to shimmering crystals based on one of Austria’s most well-known exports. Andre Heller, a multimedia designer, created the crystal gallery, which combines artwork, music, dance, and literary works into a single stunning spectacle.

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds casts a spell on every visitor: a water-spouting colossus that mysteriously entices the observer into a secret realm, where Chambers of Magic pique the observer’s interest. The face has become a global symbol, and over 12 million tourists have visited the site.

Enter the Giant’s Domain

Heller’s theme centerpiece for Swarovski Crystal Worlds was the Giant. He also wrote a story about a Giant who set out to explore the world, its riches and delights.

The Giant’s domain is home to a vast collection of valuable items housed in 17 Chambers of Wonder. Tourists can believe in magic for a short time in this imaginative world influenced and built by some of the world’s best designers.

The Blue Hall

The Blue Hall is the entrance to the Giant’s underground world. Its sloped ceilings, painted in the color “International Klein Blue” by Yves Klein, resemble the interior of a cave.

The Blue Hall introduces the crystal obsession with works by Niki de Saint Phalle, Salvador Dal, and Andy Warhol. The Blue Hall also includes the Centenar, the black horse “Chetak,” and the Crystal Wall.

The Art Of Performance

Swarovski’s long-standing collaboration with Hollywood’s most talented artists and creators is celebrated in The Art of Performance.

This Chamber of Wonder is an interactive display of Swarovski’s long history in the entertainment industry, with legendary ensembles from the screen and stage set against a sparkling backdrop highlighting the brilliance of Swarovski Crystals.

This massive exhibition, organized by renowned clothing designer Michael Schmidt, traces a historical timeline.

Into Lattice Sun

South Korean painter Lee Bul took inspiration from the modern building for “Into Lattice Sun,” transforming it into a cosmopolitan, dynamic, and utopian scene for the Chamber of Wonder. The Chamber’s numerous crystals and mirrors give the impression of ever-increasing grandeur and profundity, encouraging visitors to reflect on themselves and their place in the space.

Because of this carefully choreographed interaction, the visitor can explore all aspects of the constantly changing iridescent mirror scene from various angles.

A Crystal Garden That Captures Imagination

The Giant’s Garden is a place of modern art, rich heritage, and unusual delights. Visitors will discover a place where they can appreciate beauty, creativity, vitality, care, aesthetics, and folklore.

Visitors will be enchanted by the dazzling Crystal Cloud, who will be able to wander alongside the Mirror Pool and engage and climb with all of their senses in the numerous levels of the play towers.

A Carousel With 15 Million Swarovski Crystals

Jaime Hayon, a Spanish architect, designed a dramatic black-and-white carnival to contrast with Kristallwelten’s Garden’s lush vegetation. The contemporary design reinterprets the classic carousel while retaining its nostalgic appeal.

The monotone pattern, which spans 12 ceiling tiles and 16 wallboards, is illuminated by soft lighting to create a magical ambiance studded with 15 million Swarovski crystals. Hayon was inspired to create the mythical figurines for the seats by mythology and fairy tales.

The top and adjacent fence are decorated with whimsical characters that represent the thrill, wonder, and happiness that riding a carousel provides.

The Crystal Cloud And The Mirror Pool

The Crystal Cloud, designed by Xavier Perrot and Andy Cao, serves as the garden’s main focus. This massive sculpture floats above the black Mirror Pool, inviting visitors to take a breath and be amazed.

With a surface area of approximately 1,400 square meters, this ethereal masterpiece is the world’s largest creation of its kind. In the Crystal Cloud, approximately 800,000 Swarovski crystals are hand-mounted.

A descending slope draws visitors to the Mirror Pool, where the light of the crystals is reflected like stars glittering in the night sky. Countless fireflies create magical light, flitting and dancing in the air as if in a magical fairytale landscape and accompanying visitors across the footbridge.

A Designated Children’s Space

The year-round special attractions, ranging from the playground to the play tower, not only entertain children but also invite parents to come sit and relax.

The attractions are accessible to people of all ages.

The Playtower With Four Levels of Play Area

On four different levels stacked on top of one another, the play tower supports the widest range of fun activities. An innovative vertical net connects the tiers, which can be scaled to over 14 meters in height. Crawling, rocking, swinging, sliding, and what appears to be floating are among the activities.

The Playground, An Open-air Landscape

This space, which is appropriate for both children and adults, is accompanied by an outdoor playground. A free-form steel and wood landscape offers children an infinite number of play options.

Children have the opportunity to participate in well-known games as well as try new games and exercise styles.
