Top 10 Unique and Stylish Hotels in Santorini 2023
Romantic Santorini is a stunning and breathtaking Greek archipelago located in the Aegean Sea that is a remnant of one of the greatest volcanic eruptions in recorded history. It is eternally popular with couples, Instagrammers, and lovers of unusual landscapes.
This eruption formed a caldera, which is now a popular swimming and boating destination. Santorini is also known for its lovely villages of white-washed homes with blue-domed churches, as well as its magnificent sunsets.
Santorini is one of Europe’s most popular vacation destinations due to its perfect blend of culture, adventure, and leisure.
Santorini’s hotels, which range from stylish clifftop boutiques to fashionable beachside all-inclusive resorts, encapsulate the island’s particular beauty. Having visited Santorini several times over the last two decades, I’ve developed a list of my favorite interesting and offbeat hotels in Greece.
1. Astro Palace Hotel & Suites – is a trendy, modern, and attractive hotel with private suites and pools
Astro Palace, located near Fira, welcomes guests with the most inventive star-studded pool on the island, which twinkles at night.
The hotel’s calming minimalist decor is ideal for unwinding and pampering oneself, and the aesthetic of Cycladic whites with earthy colours encircling modern oak furniture gives a wonderful, radiant ambiance.
While I just stayed in a standard room, it had a beautiful balcony and state-of-the-art amenities that emanated polished luxury. If you’re feeling flush, the senior suites feature private hot tubs and plunge pools that exude extreme luxury.
2. Magma Resort Santorini – part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection is a lovely and trendy boutique resort with a mild boho style
Magma Resort, a haven of peace for body and soul, overlooks the boundless blue of the Aegean and welcomes independent-minded luxury tourists to a cool, authentic essence of reconnection.
In the magnificent guestrooms, the resort pays homage to Santorini’s traditions by combining simple features with earthly tones. My little hideaway included a veranda, a walk-in shower, and a cozy sitting space, making it the ideal basecamp for my island travels.
On-site, you may indulge your senses in a cutting-edge wellness center and subterranean spa, where signature treatments invite you on a rejuvenating journey. Nature’s wisdom pervades the hotel’s culinary concept, Magma by Spondi, which is lovingly crafted by a two-starred Michelin Chef.
3. Skyfall Suites – an adults-only, all-suite boutique hotel set high on a hill with spectacular views
This captivating Santorini sanctuary, elegant and sumptuous with a hint of eccentricity, captivates tourists with its magnificent views from a soaring clifftop.
Its ideal location places you half a kilometer from Pyrgos village’s main square and a short drive from the island’s capital, Fira.
A brand-new spa has recently been added, bringing a serene relaxing and wellness experience to the fingertips of guests, who can enjoy a steam room, sauna, and heated swimming pool.
During my stay, the kind staff assisted me in organizing several wonderful activities, such as a wine tour to the stunning Santorinian terroir and a hiking trip around the caldera.
4. Kapari Natural Resort – a stunning, stylish, and Instagrammable luxury retreat with a stunning view of the caldera
Kapari Natural Resort, which consists of five three-century-old cottages and nine 2009-built houses, cascades across three floors and is positioned above Imerovgli’s highest point.
The property pays attention to the distinctive features of traditional Cycladic architecture while incorporating 21st-century luxury.
The prevailing colors are ochre and buff, with complementing soft furniture and polished-cement floors exuding glitz. The daily breakfast, provided directly to the private veranda of my Spa Premium category room, was a nice touch for me.
Duxiana beds, fridges, Australian Priya brand bath sundries, and touch-pad climate and entertainment system controls are standard in all rooms.
5. Dana Villas & Infinity Suites – a gorgeous, hip, and Instagram-worthy all-suite hotel ideal for influencers, Millennials and Generation Zs

Orkos, Dana’s latest gastronomy proposition, embodies Dana’s intrinsic promise to serve visitors life-long memories by pushing your taste senses to new heights in a stunning outdoor setting.
Following that, exquisitely created beverages are served in the Infinity Pool Lounge Grand Terrace, where you will feel as if you are floating in the air while overlooking the active volcano at night.

Suites of the Gods, elegantly created in accordance with the island’s ancient architectural style and blended with modern design elements, transports visitors to the crater top and impresses with stunning volcano views.
Each room is charmingly named after a famous Greek God, lending a fairy tale feel to the enormous environment. I experienced numerous fantastic evenings at the Celebrities Restaurant, where each meal is influenced by Mediterranean and Greek philosophy, and there is an exclusive 100-year-old winery adjoining with wine-stained walls.
The on-site spa embraces the quiet calm of the caverns, mingling nature’s finest materials to create a magnificent sanctuary of relaxation in the middle of stone and water features.

The American Nikki Beach brand has hit Europe with a sophisticated, low-key version of its famous party ambiance. A elegant rooftop bar, big rooms with floating beds, and an overall comfortable ambience can be found here.
The wall of books in the Soul Lobby immediately set a calm tone as I entered this shining white refuge, which extended to the sunbed-dotted infinity pool.
Many of the rooms come with a private Jacuzzi, a pool, and a garden or deck. In the poolside restaurant, excellent and inventive Mediterranean meals are served all afternoon and evening.
