Animated Characters and Superheroes featured at Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi
The major theme parks on Yas Island offer once-in-a-lifetime Ferrari car rides, record-breaking roller coasters, and the most thrilling water adventures in Abu Dhabi. This tourist-filled entertainment district also houses Warner Bros. World, in addition to Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld. The 1.65 million-square-foot indoor theme park of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, divided into six “Lands,” features animated characters and superheroes from many people’s childhoods.
Before visiting Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, it is recommended that you book an Abu Dhabi private tour with hotel pickup and drop off, as well as an entry ticket to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, in advance from a local tour operator in Dubai. Entry tickets can also be purchased at the entry gate, but depending on the number of other visitors, you may have to wait in line.
Tom and Jerry
Tom and Jerry, famous for their literal cat-and-mouse routine, appear on the streets of Cartoon Junction—as always, together. After all, even though Jerry the mouse frequently outwits Tom the housecat, they can’t seem to live apart.
This duo can be found on the Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin roller coaster ride at Warner Bros. World.
Tweety and Sylvester
Don’t be fooled by his big, round eyes and adorable appearance; once the sneaky, bird-hungry cat Sylvester comes around with dinner in mind, Tweety will take his gloves off.
Take a look at this duo as they run around on the Tweety Wild Wockets ride. Tweety can also be found in Ani-Mayhem, and Sylvester can be found in the ACME Factory attraction.
Bugs Bunny
Bugs Bunny can be found throughout Warner Bros. World, both with and without his straight-talking girlfriend Lola. This carrot-eating, Oscar-winning character can be found everywhere, from the Hare Salon to the ticketing area.
Bugs Bunny’s appearances are not limited to Cartoon Junction. You can see him and the rest of the gang in the Warner Bros. Cinema Spectacular show if you go to Warner Bros. Plaza.
Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck is equally honored in this part of Warner Bros. World, even if he always seems to come in second to Bugs. This cunning but frequently misunderstood black duck can be found in the Daffy Jet-Propelled Pogo Stick and Ani-Mayhem rides.
He also appears in the Warner Bros. Cinema Spectacular show and joins Bugs on the streets of Cartoon Junction.
Scooby-Doo and Shaggy
A talking brown dog who hangs out in Cartoon Junction with a shaggy-looking guy? That’s Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, to be sure.
The ghoul-unmasking duo, considered Mystery Incorporated’s heart and funny bones, continue to solve mysteries in the Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries attraction at Warner Bros. World.
Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner
Though he may never catch up to the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote continues his pursuit from TV screens to the UAE’s largest indoor amusement park.
In the Fast & Furry-ous ride, join him as he attempts to capture the Road Runner. The Coyote is fighting a losing battle, but it’s a lot of fun.
The Flintstones
In The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure, Fred, Wilma, and Pebbles celebrate Stonetennial Day, but they’re not the only ones in Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
Fred is a constant presence on the streets of his hometown. Either that, or he’s stuffing his bottomless stomach at Bronto Burgers and Ribs.
Meanwhile, his strong-willed wife Wilma can be found in the Bedrock Boutique, where you can purchase prehistoric souvenirs.
Superman
Along with the rest of the Justice League, Superman is one of Earth’s mightiest superheroes, keeping Metropolis and the world safe.
In Justice League: Warworld Attacks, you can bump into the Man of Steel on the streets of Metropolis and watch him and the rest of the heroic League battle intergalactic foes.
You can even dress up as Superman with clothing from Justice League: Hero Supply Co.
Green Lantern
In Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey, Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern joins a team of interstellar peacekeepers in a 4D flying theater.
His bravery can also be seen in Justice League: Warworld Attacks. Or, better yet, do both to make the most of your theme park visit.
Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg
In Justice League: Warworld Attacks, team up with Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg to fight evildoers on Earth and beyond in a 5D immersive ride alongside Batman, Superman, and the Green Lantern.
At Justice League: Hero Supply Co., you can also purchase outfits and memorabilia based on the Amazonian princess, the fastest man on the planet, the rightful king of Atlantis, and the half-human-half-machine hero.
Batman
In Batman: Knight Flight, Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego Batman patrols the streets of Gotham, protecting it from villainous masterminds such as Poison Ivy. In Justice League: Warworld Attacks, he also joins his brothers (and sisters) in arms to fight off enemies from space.
The Joker
Without The Joker, there is no Batman. At least, that’s what the evil clown wants you to believe.
Visit this Arkham Asylum alum, witness his antics, and take part in The Joker Funhouse with another Gotham villain, Two-Face.
Catwoman
When it comes to Catwoman, there is only one side worth fighting for: her own. This feline wonder has her paws and claws all over Gotham City, especially in Cat’s Eye Jewelry, where baubles and gorgeous trinkets abound.
Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn’s quest to win over The Clown Prince of Crime continues, even at the expense of Gotham City. On the surface, this woman appears to be charming and alluring, but her reasoning is flawed.
But if there’s one thing you’ll enjoy about the version of her in Warner Bros. World, it’s Harlequin Confections, a gourmet candy shop in Gotham that will definitely tickle your taste buds.
The Penguin
Who else wants to dress up like the aristocratic and learned Penguin? Raise your hands and proceed to Cobblepot Formal Wear, the shop that dresses Gotham City’s most refined gentlemen.
Scarecrow
The Scarecrow, feared for his ability to use fear toxins, brings his method of operation to Warner Bros. World’s Scarecrow Scare Raid ride. If you must, try it, but remember to never give in to fear and to enjoy the ride.
